Babylon Medical Practice was founded by Dr. Howard Hertz in 1983 and has developed into Long Island’s premier home for comprehensive care.

We are one of the few practices that follow our own patients when admitted to Good Samaritan Hospital, just two miles from our office. We admit our own patients, manage them while in house, and provide all appropriate specialist consultations.

We are excited to announce the establishment of the Thyroid Center of Long Island, the Diabetes Center, and now offer Electro-Cardiology services at Babylon Medical Practice, in collaboration with The Heart Center at Saint Francis Hospital.
